20TH ANNUAL EID UL ADHA CELEBRATIONS AT QUEEN'S PARK - SEPTEMBER 27, 2016

The 20th annual Eid celebrations at Queen's Park  were held in Rooms 228 and 230, 2nd Floor of the Main Legislative building.  More than 40 Members of the Provincial Parliament from all political parties attended this lunch reception which was held from 11:30 A.M till 1:30 P.M. 

Hon. Kathleen Wynne, Premier of Ontario attended with several Ministers.  Andrea Horvath, Leader of Ontario New Democratic Party attended with all her caucus members.   Patrick Brown, Leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party was unable to attend.  Mobeen Khaja, President of APMC welcomed everyone. 

Consul Generals, Mr. Erdeniz Sen of Turkey, Mr. U.L.M. Jauhar of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Juan A. Alsace of United States represented the Diplomatic Corps.   Inspector Dominic Chong of OPP, Suptdt. Mario D. Tomnaso of the Toronto Police, Supt. Luise Crouch of RCMP and Chief Paul Martin of Durham Regional Police Services attended and brought greetings.

Retired Chief Armand La Barge was the Master of Ceremonies.
