7TH ANNUAL EID-UL-FITR CELEBRATIONS - DECEMBER 3, 2003

Member of Parliament, Ms. Alexa McDonough, former leader of the Federal NDP, was the Keynote Speaker and Award Recipient.  The Association honours individuals and organizations engaged in the pursuit of justice, fairness and equality.  Ms. McDonough was recognized for her “distinguished career as a leader, who stood tall with an unflinching moral persuasion against oppression, war and prejudice and her passionate pursuit for justice and equal dignity for all humans”.
